Elections Supervisor - Elections & Voter Registration

This is a full- time position with benefits. This position is responsible for preparing and managing county elections. 
 
Major duties include but are not limited to:
1. Assists with the identification, evaluation, and allocation of polling locations during reapportionment.
2. Oversees election equipment and the EMS system, including assignment, inventory control, deployment, and maintenance.
3. Plans, schedules, and conducts training for poll workers; prepares and updates training materials.
4. Serves as the primary point of contact for poll worker questions, issues, and operational support.
5. Coordinates with internal departments and external partners for equipment delivery and IT set-up at voting locations.
6. Manages Advance Voting in-person staff, providing training, guidance, and problem resolution as needed.
7. Supervises the Logic and Accuracy (L&A) testing process.
8. Recruits, processes, and onboards seasonal election workers.
9. Oversees Election Night check-in procedures for poll officials.
10. Processes payroll for Election Day poll officials.
11. Oversees preparation and execution of the Risk-Limiting Audit.
12. Provides operational support to other staff as needed.
13. Ensures polling locations meet ADA accessibility requirements.
14. Assists in maintaining current polling place contracts and documentation.
15. Performs other related duties as assigned.
 
     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must not hold a current Public Office position.
• Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education.
• Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the work of subordinate positions to be able to answer questions and resolve problems, usually associated with one to three years experience or service.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's licenses issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated. 
• Experience in elections, voter registration, or a related reporting environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
• Experience supervising staff or coordinating teams.
 
     PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Three (3) or more years of experience in election administration at the County or municipal level.
• Experience conducting Logic & Accuracy testing, managing Advance Voting, provisional ballot procedures, poll worker training, or election equipment deployment.
• Familiarity with Georgia election laws, rules, systems, and administrative procedures.
• Experience coordinating with IT and logistics personnel for election operations.
• Experience recruiting, onboarding, or managing seasonal or temporary staff.
• Knowledge of ADA requirements applicable to polling locations.

SALARY
Starting Salary - $47,974.04
